The SCEE research team organized the 25th International Conference on Telecommunications (ICT 2018) in Saint-Malo (France) in June 2018.
The conference focuses on terahertz (THz) technology that has attracted a great deal of interest from academia and industry. This is due to a number of interesting features of THz waves, including the tens of gigahertz bandwidths available. The broad bandwidth of the THz frequency bands can be used to reach terabit-per-second (Tb/s) wireless indoor communication systems. This enables several new applications, such wireless Terabit/s file transferring, among others. This year, world-class researchers are invited to share their ideas on the development of this type communication systems.
ICT’2018 invited various communications technology developers to discuss the current status, technical challenges, of the future services and applications, as part of a rich conference program including Plenary talks, Tutorials, Workshops as well as Regular and Special Sessions.
